The kit will work on the WK2 as well. If you just drop the engine out the bottom on the cradle, it cuts the time in half.

Will this work with the stock Intercooler and pipes? or will upgraded aftermarket ones be required?

Definitely interested in this, and also curious how it will pair with the Esposito's and/or H&S compound turbo kits!

The 'book' does not call for engine removal to replace the Turbo. But it is an 11 Hr. job

With some fab work on their kits it would work fine, but the compressor inlet geometry is different. We can always make a compound kit for it if you are interested.

To add to Verns chart of numbers here's the flywheel numbers interpolated from GDEs tune details PDF.

----------- stock-------- tune--------- tow---------- regular------ race
    WHP--------- 220---------- 248---------- 270--------- 291-------- 308
    WTQ--------- 365---------- 420---------- 490--------- 510-------- 517

    At the flywheel:

    CHP----------240-----------270-----------294----------317---------335
    CTQ----------420-----------483-----------563----------586---------595

Some serious power there. Exceeds the mighty 5.9L Cummins output in all but the very last iteration of that beast. Impressive!

What exactly comes with the ~$3500 turbo package?

If it doesn't come with the intercooler relocation equipment you tested have you run the turbo setup on a 'stock' cooling system truck?
