    NEW GDE Turbo kit power curves

    Below are the power/torque curves for the soon to be released GDE turbo kit. It is a replacement unit for the factory part. The performance is phenomenal! The tune for this part allows for three power settings: Tow (active with tow/haul button), Normal and Overboost mode. With the kit will be a clean air tube and two switches to be wired in and mounted in cab. One for normal/overboost mode and one for the engine brake on/off. The first release will be off-road exhaust only and not recommended if you still have or want the factory warranty...as it would be gone once hard parts are changed out. Availability in 4 weeks and pricing at $3500.

    I assume this includes a transmission tune? With CAC and oil cooler this sounds very reasonable to me.

    Negative on the trans tune, that is still a few months off for fleet ready tune.

    Why unfortunate?? Factory limit is about 835, and the new turbo frame can handle 900 C for 30 minutes (short term test bogey). Dropping egt too low means one is too advanced and cylinder pressure way overgoal. Better safe than sorry for long term durability.

    you have a lot of people who dont trust the engineers when they say something can run hotter than a cummins. materials in these engines and turbos are much better and can handle higher temps.
