    Front and Rear Sensors

Ive been having issues with the sensors on the bumpers beeping and telling me to wipe them off. The truck is clean but I think because of the influx in temp changes here in Edmonton that possibly they are getting water in them during the day temps and freezing up over night. Anyone else having this issue ?

Couple of times. Salt, sand, ice, snow, road grime seem to get them especially the front ones. Wait 5 minutes...like the weather it seems to just go away

Wife was telling me about a friend that bought some kind of new car. Each time she drives and someone passes or she passes, the darn sensor warnings go off. Think it's a Ford but that's not the issue. Obnoxious is the issue.

From what you say, a large bug splatting on the sensor will cause trouble. Glad I didn't get that stuff.

The sensors in front seem to be useless in the winter time with the freezing. I really wouldn't recommend them but like the idea. I either turn them off or the pickup does on it's own. They have save me from running over a dog though!

They are cool in a parking lot. You can tell within an inch or so how close you are.

I'm sure some of you guys that just need to turn them off all together in the winter like how the 'off button' works but I wish it would reset itself ea time the truck is turned off. (Or make this a programmable option). Every other vehicle I've owned that had park sensors resets the off button after the car is turned off.

I'm hoping this is where someone tells me I should read the supplemental owners manual because this is an option

    Front and Rear Sensors

They are the only thing that annoys the f^ck out of me. Summer, no issues, winter...grr.

Now, I have a routine. In the am, remote start the truck as per. Grab my rag and wipe front and rear sensors before I leave (10-15 seconds)

I use them lots because of the tight parking spots at work. Folding mirrors are handy too.
