That doesn't sound right... It sounds like your DPF was replaced, but a 100 mile drive to regenerate is crazy. It only takes about 10 minutes of Hwy driving to do that.. What am I missing???

That was the scr healing after they replaced the scr, they don't change dpf. Sensor was either stuck or broken trying to remove it from old scr

What healing? First time that I have heard of this... How about when you first get the truck, you don't have to drive 100 miles at constant highway speed to cause a forced regeneration. I'm thoroughly confused.

If you check the tsb for scr replacement it tells them after the scr is replaced they have to do a scr healing the tsb directs them to dealer/tech for the directions, Caterpillar does a scr healing it actually gets hotter than a regular regen

Healing is only required if the vehicle had an active or stored P2BA9-00 - NOX Exceedence - Insufficient
Reductant Quality and/or a “Service DEF” message displayed on the Electronic
    Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)?

    From the TSB:

Did the vehicle have an active or stored P2BA9-00 - NOX Exceedence - Insufficient
Reductant Quality and/or a “Service DEF” message displayed on the Electronic
    Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)?

    a. Yes>>> Repair as necessary following normal warranty repair guidelines. Refer to
detailed diagnostic procedures and SCR Healing steps found in
    DealerCONNECT/TechCONNECT, Service Info Section 28 - DTC-Based
Diagnostics> Module, Powertrain Control (PCM), 3.0L Diesel NAFTA> Diagnosis
and Testing> P2BA9-00 - NOX Exceedence - Insufficient Reductant Quality.

    b. No>>> The bulletin is now complete. No further action is required.**

It doesn't sound like healing is required after a new scr is installed... is that correct? It sounds like the procedure is for a truck that had the codes and repaired, but no new scr.
