    Tires and Leveling kits

So I had 1500 Eco 6'3 that was destroyed in a storm, I just replaced it with the same crew cab just the 5'5" bed. They are both 2015's my first one originally had 20's(275/60R20) on it and this one has 17's(265/70R17). I installed a Leveling kit and changed to 295/60R20 looked awesome but I lost 7-9 miles to the gallon. I would like to level this one out and perhaps go up to 285/70R17 anyone have any history with the fuel mileage effects, it's one of the reasons I chose this Truck!

Used the Bilstiens at 2.1". May have lost a couple of mpg. I put 10 ply E tires at the same time, so hard to tell what is what. My guess the tires had more of a contribution to the mpg drop.

I'm at 2.8" on Bilstiens, still running stock 20" tires, there may be the slightest drop in MPG's, but I'd say 1 MPG or less. I imagine change in tire size/weight will have a larger impact on MPG than a level/lift.

I run a 4" lift , front and back. I have 35x11.5r20 tires. Stock, I used to get a average of 25 mpgs , and now I get 21 mpgs average. That is without a recalibrated speedo , so I am not sure what the "true" loss is. Slightly less than what it says , I am sure. I will do I true pump test soon , and report back.
