    What a Joke this might become. Dealer called late yesterday says they cant trouble shoot electrical problem because my battery is bad and I must purchase a new battery before they can continue. Now I've worked as an electronic tech for 40 years and if I had a electrical issue I would put a good battery in and trace the problem out and then tell the customer what we need to do to resolve.
    Besides, truck is only two years old and has been starting just fine in the cold weather. I suspect the electrical issue that may have caused this problem has drained the battery. Remember I could not turn key off when it was towed. If they let it sit on the lot over the weekend it would have drained the battery. I'm going to play along for a little while before I go up the ladder.

    Well finally found the problem. Just as cat man said. A "Large Stick" broke an electrical connector on the transmission. Service advisor said they saved the stick for me. It would be very hard to stick this in the exact place to break this connector. Just a fluke, but of course not covered by warranty. This truck is the tradesman model and did not have skid plates from the factory. So we are getting skid plates today. Maybe I will post a pix of the expensive stick.

    Before you pay for the plates see them on and decide if they are of value? I ordered mine with such plates and after seeing them I should just bought a 48 of Budweiser

    Well its a done deal since I needed the truck for a trip this weekend. But I am going to dispute the battery on the feedback form I will get. Tech admitted they did nothing when it came in on the tow truck Saturday and let it sit over the weekend with the key on, so dead battery.
    Wow, reading about the EPA and emissions stuff now. My mileage was 29 when I got it, then around the second oil change they flashed an it went to 24......
