Can't say that I've taken the cover off yet, but I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Did you buy the part then get it painted or did it come prepainted? If it came prepainted, any recommendations on where to get it from online?

I'm Interested in this as well. Looking to either paint mine or replace it. Not sure how well painting it would turn out, but I really don't like the look of the black piece on an otherwise white truck LOL

I removed mt Tradesman entire bumper in order to install an Iron Bull winch bumper. What would you like to know?
It is fairly straight forward removal. I am no mechanic but i have tools and, accompanied by my six year old, had the entire bumper off in less than an hour. My suggestion is crawl under there and stRt staring at bolts. Itll make sense.
Btw mine had no fog lights or sensors so it was easier in that respect too....it is a tradesman.

I got around to swapping mine out. I ended up buying a new bumper cover meant for a bighorn, which comes smooth and ready for paint. The tradesman cover has a crinkle finish which would not look right if painted. I painted it with some 2 stage base clear spray paint from a local auto body supply.
Looks great and completely changes the truck.
