Crew Cab rear seat foot room

This is a discussion on Crew Cab rear seat foot room within the RAM 1500 General Discussion (Non Diesel) forums, part of the RAM 1500 (NON DIESEL) category; First I've heard this complaint. Maybe the 2500 Mega Cab is more for you, or a truck from another manufacturer....

You people huh? Patience is a great way to seek help.

And yes, I read you're concerned with foot room. I'll have to jump in the back seat and jam my feet under the seats.

Get in the back on the passenger side and sit there... For a while... If you're over 6' tall.
I read your post. There's enough leg room for 6 footers that foot room is not an issue.

    It's almost pitiful.

The seats are not made for you to put your feet under them it's full of wires and motors and electronic shit under there, keep your feet on the floor mat where they belong or you might get electrocuted. Just sayin.

Or you can wait for the 2017 mega cab! Then nothing will be an issue back there!

I have had over 1,000 passengers in the back seat of my crew cab Big Horn. Not a complaint yet. But lots of marveling at how roomy it is. So I have to echo shaggn's sentiment: Are you sure it's not a quad cab?

FOOT room, like in up and down.

Let's say you are a clown. You have those big, high shoes or some steel toe work boots with pads over the toe. Now you want to slide them under the front seat. Wires, jack and height above floor make that tough, if you are dressed with footwear like a clown. The front seats would have to be unbolted from the floor. Then spacers added to raise the front seats up higher.

Agree my very large buddies sit in the back and marvel at the room they have. Not sure why under the seat is a big deal. Almost seems like the OP is talking about a quad cab. I find those tight.
