This may sound strange but is there any way to increase the foot room under the front seats for rear seat passengers. Damn it's cramped under there. Haven't bought one yet but it's certainly a sticking point for me.
It's almost pitiful.
Go back there and try it out.... for about 8 hours
Sit in the back seat of a quad cab and you will marvel at all the leg room in the crew cab.
Try searching for something like seat lift kit. I have seen something like this before but this one is for a different brand truck:

You might be able to use some unistrut or square tubing depending on how creative and handy you are and how much you love your passengers.
There's more rear leg room in my Ram CC than my Tahoe.
I agree, it isn't the most spacious and I don't understand why they didn't make it so you had some behind the seat storage. My 2008 Tundra crewmax had ALOT more room in the back. That is about the only thing I miss. I wouldn't consider a quad cab.
The driver's seat raises electronically actually and that helps. Passenger side doesn't and that's where someone would sit mostly in the back. Reminds me of how American cars were in the 70s...
If the back seat is cramped, it is the quad cab. My buddy who is 6'5" finds the back seat leg room of the crew cab comfortable.
