The tune took less than an 1 hour. Apparently the system gets cleaned and I was about to get a filter warning.

Sounds like a similar process to when you install GDE. You have an immediate DPF Filter % level warning and have to do highway driving to clean it. Only difference the dealer can initiate one while its in the bay at the service dept without having to drive.

Please keep us posted, as the days go on, for your driving experience & MPG post-AEM tune.

This whole topic is funny to me. Shows how a small amount can invoke a major rush to collect and spend by so many. Momma used to tell me that even a nickel should not "burn a hole in your pocket". Seems many Ecodiesel owners have a strong burning sensation to spend what they don't have.

If the new software has info that say the TCM needs then it will not be there with your old ECM. Just wait an extra few months until GDE says all good.

GDE says "If you have a spare ecm, you are good to go"

For those that printed out, completed, and mailed their "clam form" through the Post Office, you might want to contact FCA at [email protected] to be sure they got it! I did this and was told they couldn't find anything by name or vin number, so was told to file the electronic form. Be sure when you send the email to include full name and vin number.

Sent copy of title for proof of ownership. I will update as I go. I drive truck for work and put on a lot of miles 2016 has 106,000 already both city and highway. So far has been very reliable with only one code ended up having to change fuel filter back to back I think 5,000 miles apart so I assume got a bad tank of fuel.

Submitted all my documentation via website on May 4, received immediate email with a claim number confirming submission was under review. Being a former owner, I gave pdf scans of my original purchase (new. Sep/2016), my current vehicle purchase Dec/2017 (including VIN of RAM being traded), and a scan of my drivers license.
Received email on May 8 outlining that they reviewed my submission and approved that I am eligible for compensation as a former owner. The email included a settlement offer letter requiring my signature that must be notarized.

The email did indicate that I could reply directly to the email with scans of the signed, notarized acceptance.
I did so yesterday, May 9.
