Got AEM update with no impact or issues to performance

Just trying to add a thread about folks that got the AEM and had no issues with it. It would be nice to see that some vehicles are doing ok. No difference in performance or feel.

So the 4 of you are all hoping someone shows up reporting no difference or the 4 of you ARE those people who noticed no difference? I'm thinking it's the former but just want to make sure!

Were/are any of you guys GDE? I still have my GDE and it seems to shift out of 8th easier among other shifting differences I have noticed.

I had one day where from a stop it seemed a little doggy but that has gone away. It has more power and response in the higher gears. No GDE and have the 120 mile warranty and won’t go the GDE route. 24K on my 2015.

Your right some people are not as tuned into performance as others. Some feel and hear wear. I would notice the difference. The second time I drove the truck after the update there was a certain lag at acceleration, it sucked air (“I need to move the seat up”) was the feeling. That has gone away.

I just had my AEM update last week trying to finalize the paperwork for the 3k refund. I had not taken it to the dealer since i bought it about 2 years ago with 40k miles. There may have been some additional updates done to the truck but I can tell a difference. I lost about 2mpg on the interstate. I typically get about 23-24 on the trip i did over the weekend and i was at 21 mpg after the update. Also the truck used to stay in 8th gear when i climbed the hills prior to the update now i feel lit downshifting a good bit more. Assume there was a transmission update as well?

I liked how i could put the truck in cruise control and it could climb a good bit of the hills without shifting. Would the GDE transmission tune bring it back to how it was prior to the update? I'm at 80k miles and was thinking about doing the tune since i have seemed to loss my mpg and the throttle response has gotten worse.
