    Releasing liability

I received the update and the throttle response is noticeably slower, however, that isn’t what this post is about. To receive the settlement dollars, one of the requirements is that we sign the paperwork releasing FCA of their liability.

What exactly are we releasing them from? Will there be emissions tests that we are required to pass in the future? Do we lose the ability to have FCA repair these deficiencies if we don’t pass once we accept the $$$. Are we doing them a favor by accepting the $3000?

    Thanks

    George.

That's a great question. The devil is in the details and you can rest assured any documents you are signing that were authored by FCA have been written in a way to protect their best interests, not yours.
