    Thanks for the link , Reading about the Hard facts and they stated that EcoDiesel engines exhaust cams were driven by a Timing Belt ended my reading this article, More BS from folks without a clue ....

    What did it for me was the "rock solid bottom end" lol

    Oh wait I kept reading because I wanted to see what they had to say about the GM.

    Not at all. Nor do I believe what they said about the ford and ram.

    From their article the ford is the bomb and nobody would buy the ram. They forget to mention the economy drop for 4x4's and that it costs a lot more to get into the ford than the ram.

    Im eager to see more about the GM. I fancy the inline design and their emissions system. Im not big on their electric water pump and some of their other stuff. Some technology is great and some I despise. As much as I would love to be in the market for a new truck im glad I have my ecodiesel I just wish I didn't have to worry about the motor like I do.

    First picture I have seen under the hood of a 3.0 Duramax.

    After catching at least 20 gag grouper before 9 AM this morning I feel like the "aging Ecodiesel" . Or is it the "old man" description given of the motor?
