That means everything is working well and the regen is taking place in the background without you knowing every 75-200 miles unless you have the GDE tune than every 600-1000 miles.

No tune, just driving as normal. Work is only about 7 miles away but it's uphill. Not sure if that makes a difference but the freeway is close and I just hop on and head up. I do try to get a "longer" drive in at least once a week, but that's only about 20 miles one way on the freeway. Seems to be doing the trick.

That 20 miles one way on the hwy should be enough to clear everything up.

For what's its worth, I have NEVER seen that message pop up and I have 52K miles on my 2015. I do use the Torque app and have the gauge info programmed to show my the DPF%'s so that when It's close to a regen mode (65%) I make sure I take the hwy home instead of b roads.

I haven't had any problems since doing this (started around 21K when my DEF injector failed under warranty and decided to monitor the status of the truck myself). So far it's been smooth sailing. I am still debating if I want to do a delete or not but so far I haven't had a reason to do it.

As an added note, I have noticed that since my last service visit in Nov. 2017 the latest software flash is FAR more aggressive at keeping the truck in a regen mode when it starts. Usually I only had about 1-2 min of idling in traffic before it jumped out of Regen mode but now it stays for at least 4-5min before it shuts off. No idea what that will do to the truck long term as I'm sure they are bypassing some sort of longevity thing for the sake of "cleaner" emissions to appease the EPA with the cheating fiasco but who knows. I'll just keep an eye on my gauges and drive like I normally do and see how long it lasts. Otherwise this truck has exceeded my expectations by a large amount.

Thanks for the suggestion Txnevills. I like that option better than sitting in my driveway and reving the engine to 1500 rpms for 20 minutes. Maybe in the winter when ambient temps are mild or cold, the driveway rev thing may not be so bad. But, the summer when ambient temps are in or near 100 F, reving for 20 mins without forced airflow for cooling might not be the best choice for the block.

My Bluedriver shows average of 135 miles between regen.,. w/o tune, mostly local drives but always get up to operating temperature.. (Old Harley habit also due to oil condensation, etc.,.)

I think regens vary a lot based on your driving habits. I did not get regens anywhere near 100 miles stock, probably 300+. I drive about 250-300 miles per week and I did not do weekly regens.

Stock I average a regen every 312 minutes or 145 miles.
