Dose anyone know where a person can get a service manual for the ED.
There is an 800 number in the users guide that you can call to get printed copies of the Owners Manual, Diesel Supplement and the 8a.4 radio guide for free. You just give them you VIN and in about 3 days they show up at your door.
You must be the first registered retail owner.
Just been reading the manual and found this Interesting quote
All air entering the engine intake must be filtered. The abrasive particles in unfiltered air will cause rapid wear to engine components.
If this is so why not filter the EGR. Just saying
same question !!!! I just purchased a 2016 ed. All I read is related to an OWNERS manual...NOT a service manual. 'In the old days' (2004 for example), you could buy a Helms manual(s) for GM vehicles. These were service manuals...not simple owners manuals. If you find out, let us know.
Just a thought
Anyone reading the owners manual notice that the engine redline per the manual is 3200 rpm?
The tachometer redline on the instrument cluster shows the redline at 4300 rpm
Hopeeveryone reads the manual
So many computers on this engine ,
the RPMs limit has to be controlled by the computer parameter for sure.
never tried to go over 4300 , never will ,
anyone ever tried ????
