“If you acquired an Eligible Vehicle after January 12, 2017 (NOV date), and continue to own the vehicle as of the date it receives the AEM, you are a Class Member known as an Eligible Owner.” ... Eligible Owners will get $2400-$3000 depending on if a previous owner submits an application for compensation.

So I’m looking at purchasing a 2015 ecodiesel and when I look up the vin at the AEM website it says it’s eligible for the modification and it has not been completed yet. I’m assuming this also means that an “Eligible Owner” has not received the money compensation for this truck yet since the AEM has not been completed yet.

Anyone have any other insight into this?
That's the way I'd read it. It also makes sense as there's a financial incentive for FCA to get a certain percentage modified.

Is there a way to tell if a previous owner (or current owner if buying a used ED today) has already collected the cash benefit?

I believe you had to own the truck prior to January 2019 to be eligible for any money or warranty.

Where did you see that you had to own prior to January 2019? I’ve read all of the fine print and didn’t see that (could have missed it though.) I did see this though...

“If you acquired an Eligible Vehicle after January 12, 2017 (NOV date), and continue to own the vehicle as of the date it receives the AEM, you are a Class Member known as an Eligible Owner.”

I've replied asking exactly how it is inconsistent.
Call your dealer, they should have it on record still

My wife received an email telling her the eco diesel settlement site was open. Of course we submitted paperwork via snail mail weeks ago. I still have no email from them. I went ahead and sent my stuff again, this time electronically and have an email saying they received it. Now to see what happens. I am beginning to think they never opened the paper submissions and threw them away. I will probably do the same for her two Eco Diesels.

I'm at the dealership today getting the AEM installed. I can almost smell the $3,075 dollars.

FYI, I had all my paperwork notarized at the dealership. The service advisor also had a packet for me. It was basically a list of items covered under the extended warranty.
