    Would you trade

I have a 2016 Longhorn ED in very good condition, 33,000 miles. I had an interesting offer yesterday. A guy in my neighborhood offered me a straight up trade for his 2019 Bighorn, hemi, 17,000 miles.

My truck has been good to me. When I purchased, I wasn't seeking a diesel. I landed on the ED because of the deal. MSRP was $60k and I paid $40k.

It's interesting enough that I am considering it. If I do it, I'd wait until I get my settlement check.

    Thoughts?

I've been reading about the horrible mileage the 19 Hemi's are getting.

That's part of it. He said the best he's seen is 17 mpg. I've been getting around 22.5 over the past few years.

Hi: bandrae... Here I get 31 (Hwy) mpg's Imperial using Mobil diesel. I'm certain the Conservative Gov. propaganda stickers on the pumps makes the difference!!!

The best I've seen was 27 when I took a trip to North Carolina. I have the 3.92 rear axle.

If you prefer the gasser over the diesel, go for it. Not sure what else to say.

You are now going to wait an additional few months for the court ruling and then the implementation of the programming, scheduling and finally, that stipend.

May it be worth your wait and still be available.

I believe the final court ruling is next month and am hopeful implementation will be quick.

I like my truck so I'm not in any hurry to do anything. It's certainly worth holding on to in order to get the $3k.
