It's been a year and a half since I deleted and tuned.

I've also put on 80,000 kms since my EGR delete and GDE Hot Tune. Truck has run great and problem free. No CEL's since and I even ran our frigid Canadian winter without my front grill cover. I change the oil every 10k kms or 6200 miles and I've noticed that my oil is getting cleaner with every oil change since the delete. When I checked the dipstick today the oil is almost completely golden after 6500 kms. I now have 180,000 on my 2016.
    Keep on truckin.

For now just the GDE tune with egr shut off. I was gonna delete egr but had new one installed under aem extended warranty. What delete kit did you buy ? I figured in the future I'd do egr and dpf delete with off road tune.

save yourself some work GRIFF4 ,
no real benefit from removing DPF once you get the Hot tune , same fuel economy reported .
From now on , if you want , you can put distilled water in your DEF tank instead of DEF
the Hot tune is ready/compatible with that too , all depends on your location ,
you do not want water in tank in winter temperatures .
    ..
the GDE OFF ROAD tune is an option when DOC/DPF combo goes bad ,
with 7 times less regens now that you have the Hot tune , that DPF should last a long time
without causing troubles , and you can feel like you are doing your part in anti-pollution
with the exhaust components in place . less smell too.

if one day you need to remove the EGR cooler ,
sasquatch stage 2 not sold anymore ,
CFT performance sells a good one : http://cftperformance.com/ram-and-gr...-solution-kit/
and there is a new one available , looks very good : https://noecodelete.com/product/no-eco-egr-delete-kit/

and a little thread I worked on earlier with Ecosparky and others : https://www.ram1500diesel.com/forum/...tructions.html

Hey Mike. Yes the time flies and the miles rack up fast.

Well thats good to hear. Saves some money and time without having to dump the dpf. As far as def use. I live in Mn so it gets pretty cold but I see you two are in Canada so I am pretty sure you know what your talking about when it comes to the cold. Lol

Reading the title makes me believe you deleted the dpf. Is that the case?
