Should be a cord hidden up around the passenger headlight

being its from texas may not have it installed, looked all over and no sign of a plug, they don't need them down south and it was an optional item when I was looking at ordering a truck back in 2015

Southern truck would not have the winter front or cord. The heating element is installed on all at time of engine build. Look behind the right shock tower at the freeze plugs. You can see the plug in. Buy the cord route it and zip tie to locate the plug for easy access.

Like above all ecodiesels have the heating element you just need to get the cord and install it.

I bought mine on amazon for I think $12.

Even down in the roasty toasty state of Texas I installed the plug and use the heater anytime temps are less than 60 degrees F. It makes a difference.

My tx truck has the heater element installed but no cord. Do you see the plug installed in the pass side on the engine block?

Quicker warm ups are beneficial no matter the starting temp. You just have the displeasure of getting down that cold.... Well shit I do too.
