Depends I think on your truck year. I know my 2018 needs can bus resistors to not get flickering or error messages with LED headlight bulbs. I'm installing a set of low beam LED's tomorrow. (my 3rd try with LED's). The 1st two sets had horrible pattern at night tho they looked great coming toward the truck. (which is what some guys care most about).

Fingers crossed. They weren't cheap @ 199 for just the lows.

undergroundlighting.com !! The LED's are excellent! Nice white light with a good cutoff and no cels or flickering. Easily twice the usable light as OEM. Not cheap @199.00 but worth it! Way better than the Morimoto 2-Stroke 2.0's I returned to another company! Had I known, I could have saved mucho bucks on the bull bar and the KC's by getting his high beams too. Lotsa junk out on the lighting market with a great marketing plan. Not these. Danny says he can build some yellow high performance fog bulbs too. That sounds like a plan before winter!LED Headlights anyone-low-beam.jpg-2.jpg

This is good info. In my opinion great headlights are one of the best safety (and enjoyment) upgrades you can do for your rig. Since my wife's 2017 Durango R/T has HID headlights I was spoiled a bit and had to add them to my ED. I just did an exhaustive amount of homework on headlight upgrades. My truck has projector low beams and reflector high beams, both originally halogen bulbs. I decided to upgrade to HID for the low beams and LED for high beams. The reason is that HID works much better in a projector lens than LED (as mentioned several times on this forum). The reason for LED in the high beams is that HID has a warm up period, that while short, is not best suited for high beams. I checked out several lighting upgrade outfits and found Headlight Revolution to be the best for me due to product offering and customer service. Fitment is always an issue with lighting systems and they do the homework to ensure you get what fits YOUR vehicle. I'd recommend them to anyone. Oh, and everything I bought has a lifetime warranty. FYI, I have no relationship with Headlight Revolution except as a customer.
