Good report, I don't like Blackstone, other analysis companies like Cat think the TAN and TBN numbers are important and also can do the C11 test that measures the contamination level caused by the EGR system.

Very nice report on the wear metals.

You might consider leaving out the "tuned, egr deleted" note on future analysis forms, just in case something should happen to your engine and you would like to present FCA with analysis results. Analysis is my 'go-to' should FCA ever request proof of timely service.

My first oil analysis. The wife was confused as to why I would have it ran for $28. I pointed out her expenditures on movie rentals and purchases in the last month.

Looking good. Don't be surprised if the iron comes down some.

Why the short oil change interval?

Old school, I guess. I don't drive a lot. I change oil every 6-ish months or 6000 miles ... give or take on the weather and my schedule. Frack'n winter can be long here in the UP of Michigan. I changed September last year and then again April this year. That was 7 months of driving. Summer is coming and so is camping so I'll be putting on 4000 miles just in the next 3-ish months. A bunch of that will it pulling our trailer. I might push it out to the end of the year.

I treat our Durango the same. Two oil changes a year. One in the fall and one in the spring.

As you can see by the OA, you can go a lot longer.

Most recent UOA with 18,500 on this run of Amsoil 0w40. Changed filter at 9k and the first Amsoil sample was sent with 11k on 12/29/2018.

I did add 1 qt Amsoil around 13,000 miles however BS did not comment on that...my guess being it helped the TBN. My oils used for those interested:

    1 & 2 - T6 5w40
    3 & 4 - Delo 5w40
    5 & 6 - Amsoil 0w40

    176,000 UOA.pdf

Also, my original UOA was PennEuro L 5w30 at 17,500 miles. This data was dropped off of the above report. The 5w30 was run for the first 50,000 miles until the RRT changed to T6; attached:

    157,500 Delo.pdf.
