    Gonna piggy back on this.

What are those of you who have done it putting in the transfer case?

Is there any reason why you cant use the same dif lube for front and rear? Seems ridiculous to have two different specs.

The rear is thicker because it has a much higher load and duty cycle. I'd recommend sticking with the specs.

    Just did this project.

Rear: Just over 2 quarts of 75W/140 synthetic with limited slip additive (most brands include it in their version)
Front: Just over 1 quart of 75W/90 synth (no LS additive needed)
    T-Case: Just over 2 quarts of ATF+4

So your shopping list looks like this:

3 quarts of 75W/140 synth w/ LS additive
    2 quarts of 75W/90 synth
    2 quarts ATF+4

You may need to buy an 8mm Allen head socket for the front diff drain and fill plugs. Also take a look at the transfer case fill plug. You'll need to take off the harmonic damper and the Torx head bolts make it difficult to remove once they are unscrewed about halfway so I used a 1/4" drive ratcheting box end wrench with the proper Torx head size to remove. YMMV

Do both Ram transfer case options use the same fluid?

Can the NVH damper be left off the transfer case after the service without any issues?

The front transfer case fluid is only practically done with something like the lube mover. Squeezing it from the plastic bottle as you can do for the rear differential is a non starter. FWIW I’ve only ever done the front Dif & transfer case once. You can inspect it with a finger dip for fluid cleanliness & water though. I do the rear more often & inspect it as I lost the rear once to water contamination. 599k.

    Bounty I don’t know and I don’t know.

I made a sweet fluid pump from a 1gal pump sprayer. Get 4' of clear 1/2" tubing, a 1/2" ball valve, and a plastic 90 degree fitting for the end. Total cost about $15.

Amsoil easy lube packs is a game changer especially for front differentials, they also make one of the best gear oils on the market. https://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-produ...?code=SVGPK-EA
