    Yellowing of coolant overflow tank

Hey guys, new to the forum.

Got a ‘16 Ram 1500 eco 4x4 with 54,000 miles and over time I’ve noticed my coolant overflow tank look a stained yellow/brown on the inside. Doesn’t look black or like there’s any oil mixed in the coolant but not sure what would he the cause. Anyone else have similar issue or insight as to what it may be? Dealership tells me it’s “normal,” but doesn’t appear to me.

Not sure if related but at about 40k miles had a cracked egr cooler that slowly leaked coolant/burned off on the block. Egr cooler replaced at dealer.

Looks like mine too. 40k. I think it's normal.
Do not rule out working with your hands, but it does not preclude using your head.

Mine looks almost exactly the same and my EGR was also replaced recently, 63K miles on it.
