    I hope it's something simple.

Not sure what to make of it. Started the truck this morning. Cel comes on. Drive 20 miles to work and park. No noticeable issues. Start the truck late this evening, cel is still there. Begin driving home, At some point I look at the clusters and noticed the cel is gone. ?? Is it normal for a code to fall off?

Unfortunately, yes. The stock tune is hyper-sensitive and often throws erroneous trouble codes. I often recommend owner's reset the code to see if it persists.

Consider a cheap phone app like Torque Pro that allows you to pull and clear codes yourself. Then you can screenshot the code and description to see if it reoccurs.

Thanks for the tips. Will invest in app to capture codes as they occur.

You need an OBDII bluetooth or wifi dongle to plug in to the OBD port...without which the app is fun to look at but otherwise useless.
