$153,000 and it doesn't come with a roof platform tent? Guess I save my pennies.

The Aussies know how to do off-road for sure - that overland truck looks awesome!

I bought several products from ARB for my Jeep and each piece was bulletproof, well designed and functional. If there's the possibility of getting stuck in the outback the Aussies don't rely on cheap and chintzy stuff that's for sure. $153K is a lot of coin but if you're gonna go play where these things are designed to go you better be able to drop the coin.

For me, just a bit of overkill for Ohio but it's fun to dream, right?

Well that is/was a 2500. Sure does not look like one now.

It begs the question of when the modification stops and the re-build starts.

How can the RIGHT side be the WRONG side?

Australia was a prison camp for British criminals. They adopted their driving tradition of left-hand road operation with right drive control. Other countries either have that British tradition or hold a disgust with U.S. tradition and drive left for spite. In spite of right is wrong, the truck sure is technical.

If I read it correctly from an Aussie on another forum, there are no Ram dealers in Australia. An import company has to buy it from FCA, transport it over there and make all the necessary changes so it's legal on their roads. Aside from the steering wheel move, there is also different lighting and other safety system modifications that need to be made. Even a plain Jane Ram is north of $100K
