If you want one they are going to stop taking order in the next couple weeks. After that, like late July, it is going to 2020 models. They will be arriving late September/October now. Seems 2019 was a short and small production run. That's if I got correct information.

    Now another thing:

This ZF Power Tech transmission was tested all the past year. Does that mean the 2020 will have the ZF Power Tech 8 speed?

Too late to edit the above. Just got information that this closing of orders may be delayed a month with new 2020 sales in November. Seems FCA may want more time to move out what they produced for 2019.

Might be some good deals coming soon, if you can even find a 2019 Cummins in stock.

That new 8 speed sounds interesting, but "at least 10% more fuel economy" than any other transmission, sounds a bit over the top. If it is, wow! I do believe our ZF 8 speed is worth 10% over the old 645 and 545's. Going to make a Cummins very attractive!

Probably a 10% improvement during stop and go driving when the extra ratios are utilized. Would have to be a significant drag reduction in the transmission to give you some fuel savings on highway drives.
