And now I can't use [img] tags.

WTF is going on around this place? I always use [img] tags rather than use the forum's seriously crappy [attach] feature. Now alluvasudden [img] tags don't work any more. Also, when I click the "photo" above the reply box to get the [attach] function, it won't let me use some pics.

If I didn't know better, I'd say that the forum has an active saboteur who is taking away features that forum members like. I'm referring to the tool bar that has disappeared and now forces us to go to the home page in order to be able to "mark forums read."

How many more convenient features will be removed before we move on to other forums? Sheesh.

    Hello there,

Are the images you're attaching on HTTPS?
Link the images here and we'll take a look.

    What error are you getting?

The 2nd image is from an HTTP site. You cant post those on sites with HTTPS as they'll be blocked on most browsers. If the site belongs to you you'll need to update to HTTPS, or use a hosting site.

You can also upload the images straight from your computer to the site using the Go Advanced > Attachment Manager

Also, you cannot use the "Insert Image" icon in the Quick Reply as it wont allow images to be shown properly. This is a known bug in vb4 software. There is no fix at this time.

I didn't get an error message. It just looked like I didn't attach anything.

    Hello there,

    Testing first image:

As for your second image, the site you're linking to isn't using HTTPS.
Images hosted on sites not using HTTPS will not show on sites using HTTPS as Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc will block them as it sees them as a security risk.
Try using a site like Imgur for hosting your images. Imgur uses HTTPS so images hosted there will show fine.

EDIT: seems like the first image worked.

    Thanks, Ed.

Isn't it ironic that those browsers block some sites as they are deemed security risks, but somehow the dozens and dozens of ads have no problem getting through?
