New here, I would like to see if anyone has has this issue or similar.

90260

My father's 2016 eco diesel 80k miles was parked with trailer lady ran into the trailer hard enough to break-off one of the axels on the trailer....the recover on the hitch on the truck was bent. Truck ran fine had to refuel and this is where the problem starts. The truck will not start will crank for a while but won't start. It's been at a dealership for a month they have supposedly diagnosed it to be 6 fuel injectors and a battery ( fuel was fine they tested it). Prior to towing the truck cel scanned it got back 5 codes p0088, p1290, p0087, p1292, p016f. The truck was towed today to a different dealership for 2nd opinion.

There have been posts about trucks with P0087 & P016f code revolving around the lift pump in the fuel tank, some where able to clear the codes and drive away where as others needed a new lift pump.

Update.. new dealership is saying it's bad fuel and there is metal/metallic shavings present. Quoting around 10k to replace the whole fuel system. Asking for the fuel to be analyzed. Fuel was pumped at a frequently busy station Kroger Fuel.

Sounds like the cp4 failed wonder if some debris got knocked loose when he got hit. All it takes to destroy a cp4 pump is a tiny amount of air, water, debris, etc anything that could cause a roller inside the pump to spin.
