Best photo I can get with my phone. Have a 2014 eco with roughly 140k miles, for about 2 weeks now after long drives I smell the sweet smell of coolant, figured it was my egr cooler and having 13k miles left on the extended warranty I figured I’d go to a dealer and see what they had to say about 45 mins later I’m being told they can’t replicate the smell and found no issues and sent me along my way. Reached out to ram customer care they helped me schedule with another dealer and this dealer told me the water pump looked fine and the pink deposits are simply oxidized aluminum and nothing to worry about and trucks commonly smell like coolant after long drives. I’m pressure testing the truck tomorrow but as of now I can’t find any visual leaks only indication is the part in the photo appearing wet while the rest of the engine is dry, any idea what this could be? Also started getting frequent regens roughly every 100-150 miles.
