That would make it a GDE "Off Road" tune instead of a "Hot tune"
Is this an off-road tune? That would mean if it is you can eliminate all emissions stuff? Thank you

I'm not sure if there was a difference. It was one of the original tunes GDE did for this motor. I'll try to contact GDE to find out.
Yeah GDE made a tune that you disable the EGR valve and they also made it off-road to which you can get rid of the def system. I would be interested if it was a off-road tune which would enable you to eliminate all emissions thank you

Their pre-compliance tunes were Stage 1 with the EGR turned off and Stage 2 for deleting.
If the OP is not deleted he has the Stage 1 tune

Don't waste your time contacting GDE, they will not discuss pre-ban tuning with anyone. They will only discuss current EPA approved tuning.

They've always been nice and very helpful to me. I absolutely appreciate their tunes and respect the predicament they were put in. Totally different truck with their tunes!
I thought the price was fair based on what I've seen.
