Looks like a winner, only thing is they are way over-priced in Canada starting at $48K plus the diesel option adds another $2500 bucks.

That 2.0l is a Turbocharged Direct Injected gas engine that's out now.
The 3.0l EcoDiesel is coming, the above linked article is an intended "slip" by Jeep, I'm guessing it will probably fetch a $5K upcharge over the base 3.6l Pentastar.

For most buyers it will probably work fine. For the serious off-roaders, FCA (or someone) will have to fix the off-idle performance. If you are rock-crawling you need instantaneous and linear throttle response. Waiting for a turbo to spool up when a tire begins to slip off a big-assed rock is not an option. The old inline six (once it got fuel injection) was the perfect off-roading motor for the Jeep.
