Dear GDE: I know there's many guys that have complained of the "bad reverse gearing" especially when backing uphill with a trailer or heavy load. I'm just throwing this thought out here to see if it's possible to electronically disable the front wheel drive when in 4 x 4 low range. Would this be done through the TCM? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks Erich, one of your customers.

I know this the GDE vendor forum but what your looking for is already available from BD Diesel Performance. It plugs in line with the DCM and has a switch to Enable/Disable the from wheels when you select 4X4 Low range.

Another forum vendor sells the kit.
