Tickers can be rebuilt, just like engines! Although the outcome is more noticeable with a 6 inch scar.

If we start to feel a a little funny it would be nice if we could just get another "engine" in you and get going again. Keep 'er up.
Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention! This is so cool to hear!RAM would be stupid to not use Vern's story especially with the dedicated towing.
@RamCares should be all over this.
It would be nice to see Vern in the morning sunrise ,Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention! This is so cool to hear!

In the transport world, does it cost more money to keep both trucks in commercial operation compared to running just one truck?Been using it a lot lately. I will use the Cummins more this summer. It’s nice having two so that at oil / tire change time I can do it when it’s convenient to me.
It already flipped. You can read about it here: (158) 1 million kilometers your odometer will stop | RAM 1500 Diesel Forum@VernDiesel be sure and take a photos of the odometer at 999,000 and 1,000,000 it will interesting to see if it flips or adds another digit besides this will go well with that photo you took when you had the speedo at 115 mph that was great!
Vern gets credit for knowing how to " use a diesel engine '' ,Hell yeah this is awesome.
371k and 423k on these engines is damn impressive. Would be extremely happy if mine gave me 250k+.
A true inspiration Vern. If Bio's #'s are right you should make it to 1 million easily. WELL DONE SIR...These are light duty engines. I think 300,000+ miles is impressive for any light duty engine, especially considering the hard use that Vern put them through. Let's review:
Vern's factory engine: 371,000 miles (failure due to leaking EGR cooler that caused a failed head gasket)
Vern's second engine: 423,000 miles (failure due to a cracked head)
Vern's third engine: Still in operation at 106,000 miles
Hi: VernDiesel... Conga rats on the miles. You're that much closer to the "Big bang". Be careful you don't slip into the "Black hole"!!!Biodiesel It does. In fact I will go to only the new truck being commercially insured and just liability on the Blue truck. Insurance cost being the reason that you really cannot do this part time.
