That and a lot of thought has gone into why I'm doing it this way. Ultimately it boils down to if I have an issue with any part of this system I can shut it down and not effect my truck. I can go so far as removing lines, cap the bungs on the pan, and go on about my business like its not there.
Using the adapter plate method means if any part fails (yes, VERY slim chance, but shit happens), the engine is out of commission till it's fixed.
Who knows, this might be an experiment in failure though.
Nope. Just got my HD bumper and headllight fillers painted. Needed those done and mounted before I know where to hand the cooler. Need a weekend to swap those and I'm out of town this weekend. So you're likely looking at next weekend before I can get going on it again.
