Shawclan not sure how you got 112 mph. I thought all regardless of gear are governed at 106. Dunno. Believe it was Keith at GDE told me the speed limiter isn't in the ECM its in the other control module with the radio and HVAC etc. 106 is plenty fast in a pick up. Mine rarely sees more than 85. Lol but I do like that the other newer 1/2 ton pick ups or so I've read are limited at 99 so we would pass them. Friend says his 19 2500 Cummins goes 102.

Entirely possible my memory is incorrect, could have sworn it was 112 however Keith for sure would know and no doubt either he or the guy who answered would remembers this call. After hanging up I busted out laughing imagined he was thinking 'who in the hell was that dumb-ass!'

The most suprising aspect being the rate of acceleration when the gov popped...suspect she could have ran a little faster...

The original odometer stopped working at 1 million kilometers or 621,371.9 miles as they all do. Cheap junk lol. Or design flaw like our crank harmonics around 1,300 rpms.

I have heard this around a little. Didn’t know if it’s really a thing. Is the engine really out of harmonic sync at 1.2k-1.3k rpms? Ever since I read this I do try to stay out of that range. Lol.
