Just curious, why do you need super bright backup lights when you have a reverse camera on the tailgate that provides excellent views in the dark
?

Better visibility is why I use them. They light up the surrounding area very well. I actually have auxiliary lights mounted below the bumper instead of the replacement bulb.

You still need to see what behind you in the sideview mirrors.
If all you use to back up your truck is the reverse camera, please do everyone around you a favor and install a back up alarm also.

I run those, have for about 9 months now. No issues with CANBUS and they're plenty bright. I bought mine from Amazon but I have a feeling they're all made by the same company in China (all the ones I've seen for sale look identical).

Any time you add extra light to the rear you do yourself and others a favor. I’ve had work lights on my trucks for years.
These might just save me from extra work as long as there is enough room for their heat sink

Yep only reason, i am just hoping the housing will project the light better. I know my 16 Silverado even with same bulbs from my 11 ram was bad..

on my 2011 ram went from stock to a set of diode dynamics 410 lumen it was plenty bright.

Also can you post up a pic of your reverse light setup please?

Ok i saw this on my Facebook feed, just now and not sure what to think for the lumens it’s awesome. But never heard of the company or hear anyone mention lights like these

2100 Lumen no joke... If it is really 2100 Lumen you will see though walls :) :)

You will have to be careful, because you will blind somebody very easily.

Let's say you have to back up a bit in traffic, not something happens often, but for driver behind this will be like punch in a face if it is at night...

Ya the cargo lights were bright enough to light up the road behind me.

I just upgraded my reverse lights with LEDs today. I used a set that was recommended by BoostedMotorsports on YouTube.
They're outstanding. What a great inexpensive upgrade. The light is a very nice clean white, no blueish tinge. They are polarity sensitive. I had a 50% chance of inserting them correctly, got it wrong both times.
These bulbs claim 1700 lumens. I don't know about that, but they are excellent and the view from my camera and side mirrors is vastly improved.

We started running LED reverse lights on our work trucks. Works wonders!! I am eyeballing sets for my personal vehicles. Cameras or not, this is a worthwhile upgrade. Like some people, I also use my mirrors and shoulder check when backing up. Day or night.
