Hello. I am new to this site. I have owned my 14 Ecodiesel for about 8 months now and just the other day, I got a warning on my dash that said service electronic throttle control. Once this popped up, it completely shut the turbo down and left the vehicle going no more than 30mph. I did a lot of digging to find out what the issue was. Turned out both the EGR diffuser and the MAP Sensor were insanely dirty. If you have never done so, I have attached a video on how to clean both of these things. It will make a huge difference in how your truck runs.

For future reference in limp mode small throttle inputs work better than flooring it. I drove mine to and from work 60 miles round trip a day for 2 weeks in limp mode when my reluctor wheel went out. It will run Highway speed just takes a bit to get there and you will loose a little on hills.

I don’t know if you are stock or have an aftermarket tune, but my truck is much more drivable in limp mode with the factory tune than the GDE tune.
