Hey guy , does anyone use the engine off timer on the truck and does it work ? I farted around with it and so far haven't noticed any changes or that's the truck stays at idel for the 5min or longer

I have a touch screen radio , under setting , engine off

After it get back form the hail damage repairs I'll have to look for it. Do you have to set it using that each time you want to activate it?

Not sure how it works I set it up for 5min engine off timer , haven't had it work yet , the 5min is saved so I'll keep trying make it work but no idea how

Is the timer for remote starts, 10 minutes is the factory setting.

^^ Ya, I'm thinking that it may be a shutdown timer for the remote start also.....??

It's the amount of time the radio etc will stay on after the truck is shut off before a door is opened. Also known as "retained accessory power" I think FCA could have done a better job naming it in these trucks
