Don't laugh, I was vacuuming the truck and found an extra screw under the rear seat... I don't see an empty hole anywhere. Any ideas what it belongs to?

I have some fasteners that look like that. They retain the rear fold up floor board to brackets and hinges on my Outdoorsman.

This would be considered a critical bolt, maybe a seat, safety sensors, seatbelt, floor tray, ect.....
This bolt has a sealing compound on it used to lock bolt from backing out of part.
We use " this compound" on all critical safety related parts which locks fasteners in and stops them from loosening off!
Most likely an extra bolt from ones pocket/pouch during install at factory.
What is length and size of bolt, i may be able to direct you to the part it secures!

I have found screws under the seats of most cars I have bought new. I was told by a guy that worked on a car assembly line that if they drop a screw and can't immediately see it they will not hunt for it to save time. Odd though that several others here have found the same screw in the same place..
