Morning just became a new member here and looking forward to reading some info on the `1500 Eco Diesel 3.0. Have a 2500 now with the 6.4 hemi in it but headed back down to the 1500 models. No need for the 2500 now. Been a good truck for use though. Have had a 2017 Rebel in the past also. great trucks these Rams are.

Welcome to the forum.

I had an Ecodiesel for years and lots of miles. Then got a 2500 Cummins. Now, not really needing the towing ability of the Cummins, considering going back to the smaller diesel. Understand your decisions.

Welcome, great group here! Are you looking at a used 1500 diesel or a new one? The 2020+ seems to be less problematic to this point.

I am actually looking to order a 2023 as soon as they decide to let you order. Have had diesel before but in a 1 ton from ford with the 6.7 from 2011. But since have been in the gasser motor since 2017. I do mostly hwy miles with some towing, but not heavy like have done in the past. Is why I am looking at the 1500 now.

Seems like that 2023 Eco would suit you well.

Aren't we all looking for excellent dealers?? If you know of some in WI, by all means post their info. At least we know who to go to, and who to avoid.

I think overall The VanHorn chain has a pretty good reputation. In 2005 I was treated very well by the VH sales team in Fondulac and their service dept for years after.

Most N/As are "near beer." I do prefer Clausthaler or Beck's in a pinch.

I guess I need to clarify for the non-Wisconsinites. While Sprecher does make alcoholic beverages including traditional beer, they are much better known for their variety of flavors of pop, but especially for their root beer.
