Then you can imagine how Canadian Eco owners feel. No $3000 and no extended warranty.
I'm still sore from the pounding from FCA. Thank goodness I'm
GDE tuned.
As the owner of a 2017, I'm in a similar boat. AEM was basically done on my truck before I bought it, so I only know the resulting FCA/EPA tune. No money or different warranty.

Hmmm.... an Italian factory vs. an American rebuild... I'm not a mechanic, but what's the issue with TTY head bolts from a rebuild standpoint? Head-bolt kits are readily available for the Powerstroke 6.0.
Seems like I read somewhere someone was finally able to find a set of bolts for the ecodiesel and it was $1200 bucks just for the bolts.

So was I. It's way easier and more effective to pursue sources rather than end users.
A least with the Ram/Jeep Ecos, you're only talking about a total of just over 100k vehicles. Even if 25% of them got tuned, the EPA only has to track down 25,000 owners with one major tuner. With VW, IIRC, it was around 500k VWs plus Audis and Porsches and several different tuners.
