Installing the security bypass cable with be infinity easier if you take the extra minute to remove the cover for the e- brake.
I was actually able to remove the can-c hub from its mount so that won’t be a problem. I also removed the OBD2 port which was easier than expected and released the secondary locks. So I’m ready to go as soon as the ECM, programmer, and harness arrive next week.Installing the security bypass cable with be infinity easier if you take the extra minute to remove the cover for the e- brake.
I'm special, but I also sense your skepticism. I'll record and post some videos when I have a chance. When you contact GDE, ask them why Uncle Buck got a tune that's totally different from the tune the rest of us got. Because ALL of these tunes are the same and every truck is going to drive the same with them. If you go WOT, it sounds like marbles in a coffee can. It's likely due to the change in fuel injection timing and probably isn't harmful, but it sure doesn't give the driver a warm fuzzy feeling.

All the tunes have been the same thus far. I think the issue on your vehicle is due to the larger tires. It seems to be going into grade detection logic which leads to higher rpms in light load. I think with some tweaks to the trans software for load compensation will fix your issue. Thank you. That doesn’t seem bad at all compared to what I’ve been reading.
Holy moly… I didn’t realize that your Speedo is in KPH. My jaw dropped at first thinking it was MPH.

What are you selecting to get boost gauge and regen status?I put this up over on the 5th gen forums on the 30th. I'll join the show over here as well. As mentioned on 5thgenrams the truck was sitting in the garage for a week prior to starting it. Ambient temps were on the high side for this time of the year, however the shifting characteristics do not vary in colder situations. I attempted to capture both throttle jabs and normal driving during warm up to address concerns that have been raised. You can make out some of what I'm doing by watching the cts3 unit and throttle percentage in the bottom left. I'll create a repeat video as the Temps drop this week. Perhaps I'll even narrate, however I prefer to allow the gauges and data to speak for itself. My GDE tune should be identical to others, it was done in house within a couple days of everyone else.
All that is to say and show that I just don't get the same issues mentioned. I'm not saying others don't, I'm not them and not in their truck, but I do not. I think it's only fair that both sides are represented if it's going to be a public discussion.
Edit- Forgot to report back with mileage and regen stats.
Worst tank so far was 22.1, best 25.1, today's 700 mile trip was 23.8. Lots of factors at play in those mileage. All by hand. Also saw another active regen today at the 960ish mile mark.
2.5 gallons of Def put in today to top it off, finally. I'll start tracking that as well.
Yeh but you can’t choose what you want to display? That's a stand alone third party device, an edge cts3.
