Hello. I want a torsen diff. Eaton Truetrac 917a730, according to Summit, will fit 2022 & earlier. Powertrax Grip Pro says their GT309231L will fit 2018’s and earlier. How can they both fit 2018’s & earlier, but just one fit only 2018’s & earlier.
I guess I am missing something here. Powertrax is noti less.
The '19-'22 Classic trucks are the same as the '18 and earlier Gen4 DS body trucks which has a 5 bolt lug rear axle
The '19-'22 Gen5 DT body trucks have a 6 bolt lug rear axle.
Other than gear ratio availability there's no difference between the gasser and EcoDiesel axles.
Howdy Crash88! So the axles are different from DS to DT. And gassers and Diesels have different and gear ratios available. So the Powertrax that is made for 2011-2018 will fit a 2022?
Thank you.
Reach out to the limited slip manufacture and ask them what they have that well fit. Or you could get a oem one I really like the limited slip ram uses yes its not a torsen but it works great.
Hello again. I figured I would update. Powertrax did finally call me back. They said theirs does work for 2022's, but the website was not updated. When I started this thread, the Powertrax was on Amazon.com for $607. By the time I got an answer, I was able to buy the Eaton one on Jegs for $50 off. I ended up getting that one because it was the cheapest price I could find for either on them.
