Is it okay to leave the egr on after deleting? I’ve seen some leave the egr on and some delete it. Does anyone have more knowledge on this subject?

Not recommended, can cause issues. Can get by for a short time.

The egr cooler would still be under some thermal stress and full exhaust manifold pressure aka it can still fail and cause issues. Also not all tunes fully disable the egr system (they claim to but not all are successful) so it could still be a problem. Next thing egr valves can leak through they dont always seal perfectly.

I ran without an EGR delete after my full delete tune for about 25k miles. I deleted EGR right before HDDieselSupply out of Canada closed there website. I have piece of mine knowing EGR will not start leaking and causing issues later down the road. I’ll post some pictures
