Well, as the title says...I didn't get around to it until now. I have ~25,000 KMS on the 2015 ram (and no problems
). Sent it in for a tire rotation today at a local shop, as the local dealer is a yahoo. Tires looked fine to me, but I don't have a tool to measure tread depth. My question is, now that I waited 25,000KMS without rotating the tires, should I now wait another 25,000? seems like switching them around at a shorter interval would encourage uneven wear, no?
Since we're talking tires....mine are the stock good year SRA 17" that everyone seems to hate. I don't put my truck in anything worse then a grassy hill or wet/icy boat launch and they seem fine. Quiet, smooth ride...except, when I'm on a grooved pavement highway...then the whole truck seems to shake like the wheels are out of alignment or something. hit a smooth patch, back to smooth, into the grooved pavement and it's really shaky. Anyone else experience this? Any ideas why? My car doesn't do it, nor has any other vehicle I've ever had.
