There are separate PDF files for the owners manual, diesel supplement, uconnect manuals, and user guide. Couldn't find this info searching the forum - hopefully I'm not retarded.

I downloaded and read and re-read the manuals a couple of months before I ordered my ED - big part of my decision to buy was understanding what I was getting into. Someone on another thread has commented that there might not be as many problems noted on this site if everyone really read and followed these documents.

Ram will send you a hard copy if you are the original owner. Just call the customer service number. Better than going blind looking at page after page on the computer in my opinion. It's free so why not? Since when did they stop giving you an owner's manual anyway? Least they could do for $54k, I think.

Yes I agree especially since this is a light duty diesel and might be the first diesel for many owners. Even if you have experience with diesel engines the emissions systems keep getting more and more complex. I've read the user manual many times over but this is first I've seen the owner's manual and diesel supplemental manual. I've been really happy with my EB almost a year in - one Canadian winter, 34,000 km and the only problem I've had is a dead battery a month in.

Don't feel bad, the forum's search feature is not that good. One trick is to use Google with "ram1500diesel" in the search string.

Something I have asked for here several times is an FAQ area. What else do the moderators have to do?

Is it the full manual or just the "quick reference guide?" The manual is over 700 pages and about 3 inches thick!
