I know it holds the code!!!
So driving home yesterday and the MIL shows up. CRAP, never seen that before. CTS says P26AB. OK look it up and go to take the truck in the next morning. Not a word of a lie here but 2 blocks from the dealer MIL goes out. I register my 3 issues including the MIL and they are very busy so I offer to come back Tuesday next week. Thing went out right? No guff, 2 blocks away from the dealer MIL back on. Same code. Really? Good thing it's Friday.
Other 2 issues include the auto dim not working on the passengers side view mirror and the sticky plastic stuff used to black out the pillar between the front and rear doors is peeling at the bottom.

Engine coolant by pass valve stuck. Your 3-way valve is failing and needs to be replaced.
Thank you GDE.

My truck does not always get to normal temp, sometimes it stays hovers below 1/2 way.
It always ran at the 1/2 area. Just lately something not right no codes? Could this be the start of the Engine coolant by pass valve sticking.

I Just had this code come up today , after the truck has been sitting for a few weeks in my garage.

cleared it , but should I expect to be buying parts ?

Does anyone know if the AEM warranty covers this ?

Thanks

Poolhammer , A few different opinions / diagnostics on that code :
ALL INFO I COPIED ON THAT CODE :

P26AB = fixed by update no: 18-19-04-CU yeah right ....( some say .no good )

IMPORTANT * If a 2015 : <<<<<< get only part# 52014971AB no other model for 2015 >>>>>*

code P26AB = 3 way coolant valve ( coolant going to heater -trans.-engine )
valve located under the air filter box assembly

by skleppy : after 3 trips to dealer , not the 3 way valve ,
not the PCM flash , it was chaffed / corroded wire ground wire in
front passenger wheel well , shorting , making 3 way valve not work right.
...........................................................

by roegs : I took the electrical connector off the 3 way valve, checked the contacts,
and reseated the connector a couple times. So far, no error since.
...........................................
From other member ; ****Make sure they replace the damn valve & they don't
just try to reflash the ECM to cover up the faulty valve CEL.

These valves have a history of failures on the Hemi & they must use the same thing on the ED.

I understand cost at the dealer to have this replaced is around $450,
and the unit itself I believe is around $150. It sits on the passenger
side of the truck immediately below the air intake, and seems
relatively easy to replace from the youtube video out on it.

you-tube video on how to change valve
named : "2015 Ram truck 3 way coolant valve removal and replacement "
...
one opinion from here ,on P26AB , post # 86
https://www.ram1500diesel.com/forum/ram-1500-diesel-mechanical/22233-cel-p26ab-3-way-coolant-valve-5.html#post960746
" the 3 way valve must be 100% on one side or the other ... if it is
not 100% open or close, you will get code P26AB and that is why this
code is intermittent and disappears , conclusion, this code when it
appears, if it is not followed by other code, should not be taken
seriously because it will disappear of itself."
