@MashedUp you don't need to change the VIN in any of the other modules, they already have it programmed in. The VIN number has to be the same in all of them so they will talk to each other, you could say it's being used as a "password" on the vehicle's network of modules.
None of the programming is being changed on the ECM when the VIN and injector codes are being changed. The VIN acts like a password and the injector codes are basically letting the ECM know exactly how much the injectors spray out.
