RAM 1500 4x4 Laramie - AEV RECRUIT package spec built with many extras! I’m listing my RAM 1500 4x4 Laramie - American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) Recruit spec built truck. You will not find a nicer, lower mileage 2014 RAM 1500 for sale, which has been built this way. I am the original owner of this truck and have babied it from the moment that I drove it off of the dealer lot. Oil changes have been performed every 5,000 miles or less with mainly Shell Rotella 5W-40 (recommended OEM spec oil), in a few cases I used other OEM spec oil like Liqui-Moly. All records have been meticulously maintained. I require a larger truck, otherwise I would never sell this gem! This truck has never been involved in any accidents. It has been garage kept throughout it's life. There are no dents. This is a non-smoking vehicle and is incredibly clean. It has been fully paid off, there is no outstanding loan. There is a clear and clean title. This truck has never been off-roaded, it is used as a family vehicle and for trips with our small family camper. There is only minor wear and tear for a vehicle that has just under 48,000 miles on the clock and is 8 model years old. I’ve spent well over $20,000 on upgrades to the truck, while maintaining a very classy "OEM PLUS" appearance. This truck started it's life as a loaded 2014 RAM 1500 4x4 Laramie Quad Cab EcoDiesel. I’ve attached the original build sheet, showing the original $52,790 sticker price. This was just about as loaded up a Ram 1500 Quad Cab Laramie as you could find! I invested in the AEV RECRUIT package in 2020, when the truck had just under 30,000 miles, and no expense was spared. The installation was performed by a certified mechanic and vendor for AEV here in Maryland. All of the options are included in this package, which are as follows: -AEV front bumper with tow hooks -AEV branded/stamped Vision X 6.7” LED Light Cannons 50 Watt Narrow Beam -Tuff Stuff LED Light Bar -Badlands Apex 12,000 pound wireless winch with synthetic line -AEV winch hook isolator -AEV Cast Aluminum Tall Steering Knuckles -AEV 4 inch DUALSPORT SUSPENSION – Proprietary AEV and Bilstein setup for the air ride suspension. -AEV 4 mm stamped steel skid plate for the front underbody -AEV 20 inch Delta wheels mated with 35x12.5x20 Nitto Ridge Grappler Tires on all four corners. I also have a 5th spare AEV Delta wheel with Nitto tire mounted, which will go with this sale. The spare is still new. -OEM MOPAR Black powered push button closing mirrors were installed to replace the original chrome mirrors. My goal was to delete as much chrome along with the AEV package installation. -OEM MOPAR rear bumper, painted in AEV Textured Black was installed to replace the original chrome bumper. -OEM MOPAR black grill was installed to replace the original chrome grill. In addition to the AEV package, there are other suspension upgrades to this truck, which are as follows: -Moog USA made Heavy Duty front lower control arms. Installed in 2021. -CORE 4x4 Tier 3 USA made rear upper and lower control arms. Installed in 2021. -CORE 4x4 Tier 3 USA made rear panhard bar. Installed in 2021. -Carli Suspension rear sway bar end links. Installed in 2021. -Hellwig Suspension Products rear sway bar for 2-4” lift. Installed in 2021. I also have made the following upgrades, added accessories and major services: -ARE CX Series truck cap with OTR Option (Full Linex Spray), windows with screens, fully lined interior, and Yakima Whispbar Rack. This was custom ordered and installed in 2021. -BedRug for both the truck bed and tailgate, which matches very well with the truck cap interior lining. You can very comfortably camp out in this truck bed, it is over 6 feet long! -SofaKing Tune for the ECU. This also comes with a control module, and you can easily switch between stock and SofaKing tune in under 3 minutes. I had this installed after the FCA diesel scandal recall and reflash program. -Mag-Hytec rear differential cover installed at 37,000 miles. -Front and Rear Differential and Transfer Case fluids changed at 37,000 miles. -The auxiliary lighting is controlled by a SWITCH PROS system, which has extra room to control up to 5 other auxiliary features. Only 3 slots are currently used. -Removable trailer tow mirrors snap onto the front of the regular mirrors. I drive with these on there 100% of the time. They are very durable, attach tightly and do not rattle while driving at highway speed. -Full Paint Correction and 3-year Ceramic Coating performed in 2021. -PPE Heavy-Duty Aluminum Transmission Pan and filter were installed and filled with new OEM spec oil in 2021. -Custom stainless steel brake lines. Installed in 2021. -Hawk slotted and cross drilled rotors and Hawk brake pads. Installed in 2021. -Powder coated black clean intake tube for the air filter housing, along with a rechargeable/reusable high flow air filter. -Valentine One Radar Detector has been hard-wired and a semi-permanent mount is installed on the rearview mirror. Both can be removed quite easily, if you do not want to drive with a radar detector. -Performed the OEM+ aftermarket cabin air filter installation, along with a rechargeable/reusable air filter. -The Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) tank was replaced in 2021, under warranty. -Weathertech floor mats for both the front and rear. -Weathertech mud flaps for both the front and rear wheel wells. -OEM Mopar hood bug/rock shield -NOCO Genius engine block heater installed. -The original spare wheel was removed, repainted to match AEV flat black color, and a 35 inch tire was mounted. This is a lighter wheel and tire combo than the AEV Delta wheel, and is perfect for being mounted, either in the bed or on the Yakima roof rack system. Please note that this truck is still being driven semi-regularly, so I have listed the truck with a higher than actual 48,000 miles as compensation for any driving that takes place between when I list it and when it has sold. |
