what is the difference between the discontinued 68417517AA DPF and the 68329869AB? the current one is $1,000 more than the discontinued version.
If I had to guess, I would say the new part addressed the issue with the weak stud bolts that are known to break.

If you want to know those hidden details you can get a monitor ,
I have a EDGE monitor , thet are only good for 2014 to 2016 , but there are other
models . ( for our Ecodiesels : EDGE CTS2 model 84130 , and CS2 model 84030 )
CTS2 around $600 in CDN dollars : Edge Insight Cts2 84130 for sale | eBay
Do we know how the Banks iDash DataMonster compared to the Edge CTS2 for the 2014 - 2016 trucks? I know that both systems monitor a lot of parameters.

I installed a EPA GDE tune and now the truck reagents about every 200-250 miles.
Depending on the type of driving you do, 200 - 250 miles is normal.

It's a mixture of city and highway driving, before I lost my PRE EPA GDE tune the truck did not regen as often as it does now.
That's because your pre-EPA tune turned off EGR. Your EPA tune still uses EGR. What you're experiencing is normal for the GDE EPA tune.
